Farm Bureau’s Project R.E.D.

The Huron County Farm Bureau hosts an event called Project R.E.D. ( Rural Education Day). This event is put on to teach the local 3rd graders about Agriculture. FFA chapters across the county participate in this event in many ways. As a chapter, we assist with this agricultural education day annually. This year we presented "How to make Apple Cider." Using a press from a local we taught the 3rd graders how to make apple cider. We taught them facts about Michigan apples and apple origins.
